Risk management


Largest modern management researcher Peter Ferdinand Drucker, author of the book “Management challenges for the 21st century” creates a new management model: “in the scope of management attention and responsibility is included everything that somehow influences on organization productivity, it’s activity effectiveness – inside of organization or outside, in controllable by organization scopes or in scopes that are outside of it’s control”.

Constantly changing external factors and, consequently internal factors and circumstances imminent influence organization’s activity. For successful and stable functioning it is necessary to trace these changes, consider them by activity planning, carry out business management in conditions of constant risks, prevent occurrence of undesirable events. All these stimulate organizations to use risk-based approach or, as they say, “risk-based thinking”, by planning and management of their processes, implement different methods of risk management and create corporate culture in which all levels of organization’s management are oriented on integrated and continuous risk-management.

Prevention and elimination of undesirable situations as well as choosing of actions on their reducing contributes increasing of organization’s possibilities to achieve established goals not only in short-term, but also in long-term perspective, confidence enhancing from the side of interested parties and as result contributes to increasing of organization’s stability as the whole and enforcement it’s position on the market.
